Moving into a new home can often times be a confusing process. With so many items to pack and so many things to decide whether or not to keep, usually something is bound to get lost in the shuffle of things. One thing you probably should take time in sorting out though are your clothes, and as you do, wardrobe boxes will help you get the clothes you decide to keep, safely to your new destination.

When moving, many people simply choose to use paper or plastic bags to store their clothes in, but that’s not exactly the best idea when moving, especially if you have delicate items. Many times people will over stuff bags and before you know it, you have clothes all over the sidewalk as you try to get the overweight bags into your new home. Other people may even try to use ordinary cardboard boxes, but regular boxes can easily tear if they are not made of the best cardboard. Using wardrobe boxes for moving is by far the best selection you can ever make for the storage of your clothes during a move.

Wardrobe boxes have poles in them for you to safely hang your delicate fabrics. Items such as suits and blouses with fine thin textures do well in these, versus folding and placing them in boxes with numerous pounds of other clothes. Wardrobe boxes are especially recommended if you have garments that are rare and require the utmost attention in transport, because most people simply don’t have the money to replace such highly valued clothes.

There are some things to consider when using wardrobe boxes to move your clothes. First, before you begin just putting items in them, try to make enough time to selectively choose which clothes you’d really like to keep and which items you’d like to sell or give away. This is especially helpful if you’re moving into an area with less space than you currently have. Also, try to keep your clothes together that match seasons. This is particularly helpful when you arrive at your new destination and need to begin looking for something to wear. Grouping clothes by seasons makes it very easy to know whether or not you’re in the right box or not.

Next, make sure you’re using the wardrobe boxes to their fullest. Store items such as shoes at the bottom of them and include related socks in each one as well. Again, sorting items as you intend to wear them can be a great help.

Finally, for general wear, try to roll the clothes instead of folding them. You’ll notice a major difference in the fact that there will be no lines in the clothes when you take them out. Once rolled, store them on the bottom on top of the shoes and socks. This is a great space-saving technique. You can even try rolling up some of your housewares (cups, mugs, etc.) in them. This too will save you space and money when moving. Try not to get cheap wardrobe boxes.
They are boxes that have so many functions (storing shoes, socks, clothes, etc.) that you want to make sure that they stay in one piece.

Be sure to follow these basic wardrobe box tips and you’ll be on your way to a much happier move, no matter how far you need to travel.

The Rosetta Stone Language Learning System is an interactive software based language learning course that focuses on immersion as a method of teaching a second language. The program uses text, sounds and images to teach the user the vocabulary and grammar of the language of their choosing. The system uses built in voice recognition software to rate and encourage the proper pronunciation of words by the user.

As a person progresses through the program they are met with more difficult and challenging elements of their chosen language. The system is broken up into units, each ending with a small quiz-like section and review. At anytime the user of the program is able to return to a previous section to explore any areas they may have missed or that they feel they did not complete adequately.

Generally, language experts receive the program favorably, although there has been criticism of the system for using stock images that do not necessarily represent the culture a language comes from, as well as having a common formula for presenting languages regardless of their linguistics origins and the differences that may present. A common observation is that the style of teaching the program uses is better suited to teaching vocabulary than conveying proper grammar and syntax.

Because the system is self-driven and computer based it lends itself well to busy schedules where flexibility may be preferable to traditional language classes. With any language learning program or course it is important to maintain and practice new language skills. It may be important to attend conversational meet-ups and other types of events where the user can interact with other language students of varying skill level. There are many benefits to using this program, but some users may not find the style to their liking, or may struggle with the lack of real interpersonal interaction that is present in traditional language courses.
