All avid outdoor adventurers should have a special folding beach chair safely tucked into their car’s trunk to be taken out and immediately set up on the beach. These chairs are not your typical back yard folding chair. They have shorter legs and allow the user to basically get a sun tan on the beach without submerging himself or herself deeply into the sand. Folding beach chairs can be made of canvas or plastic although a canvas chair is more comfortable and will provide more support to the reclining body than a chair made of cheap plastic.
Canvas made folding beach chairs are more expensive but one only needs to buy it once and to make sure to fold it back up and return it back to the trunk of one’s car when ready to leave the beach. Sometimes, a fold up beach chair made of sturdy canvas and, properly studded, can be set up on the edge of the water, allowing the waves to crash playfully on one’s legs while keeping the rest of one’s body relatively dry and free of the irritating encroachment of sand as it likes to settle into one’s bathing suit.
Buying a folding beach chair is actually a better investment than buying numerous beach towels. Spreading a beach towel on the beach is not as comfortable as opening up a collapsible beach chair and sitting on the beach with the same comfort as sitting on one’s front porch. Folding beach chairs become even more important as one ages. It might be really hard for an older person to lie on a beach towel on the beach and to get up easily. With a comfortable chair with wide arm rests, getting up is easier by pushing up on the arm rests. Getting older is hard enough without having to give up enjoyment of the beach that can be a joy with a well made folding beach chair.
