Sphere Chairs: The Latest Craze in Furniture

by admin on May 6, 2010

Head into any large retail store like Target or Wal-Mart these days, and you are likely to see some sphere chairs in the furniture department.  Although this type of chair was virtually unheard of a few short years ago, they are sure popular today.  What makes people love them?  For starters, their cheap price tag means that almost anyone can afford one.  Secondly, they are just plain comfortable and simple, which is also a selling point.  Here is what you need to know about these funny looking chairs.

As for the price of these chairs, they are very reasonable.  You can pick up an adult sphere chair for less than $40, which is about as good a price as you can get for furniture.  Although the cheapest versions might not look so nice if you have a fancy living room filled with decadent sofas and ottomans, they will look fine in most people’s homes.  Need some furniture for your dorm room?  Get a logo sphere chair with your college team’s logo printed on it.  Even with a logo on it, the chair shouldn’t set you back more than $30 or $40 bucks.

Another place where these chairs fit in well is in a teenager’s room.   Because teens spend so much time chilling in their room watching movies, playing video games, or just listening to music, they need a good chair.  Getting your teenager a sphere chair to slouch into is a great idea because teens don’t usually care too much about if their room looks neat and tidy or not.

Finally, getting one of these chairs for your balcony or patio is a wonderful idea as well.  If you get the kind without a thick cushion on it, it will be fine even if you leave it out in the rain overnight.  There is nothing better than sitting out on your porch on a summer day taking in the fresh air.  A sphere chair will let you sit back, put your feet up, and enjoy the day.
